Dr. Kate Hageman graciously agreed to be featured in my blog, where I am speaking to people who work in the neighborhood.  Dr. Kate is a chiropractor with Deignan Family Chiropractic. 

We had a little Q&A:

How long have you worked at Deignan Family Chiropractic?  

I have been with Deignan Family Chiropractic for 7 months. I joined the team last July and love getting to work with such incredible people every day.

What do you love most about being a chiropractor?

My patients! I love being able to connect with each patient and teach them the importance of a healthy spine and nervous system.

If you weren't a chiropractor, what would you be doing?

This is a tough question, I have wanted to be a chiropractor since I was in grade school. But if I were not a chiropractor, I would probably be doing something in fashion or interior design.

How do you spend your time when you are not working? 

I enjoy exercising, running outdoors is my favorite! I also enjoy golfing, spending time with my family and friends, and watching movies.

Tell us something unique about working at Deignan Family Chiropractic?

As an office, we have book club. We read a chapter each week and discuss it on Monday’s.

What's your favorite lunch spot in town, and what's your favorite dish there?

McGonigal’s Pub - Spinach Cobb Salad.  When my parents come to town to visit, McGonigal’s is a must!

Can you give me three words that you feel describe Barrington? 

Charming, welcoming, and scenic.

Is there anything about Barrington that stands out to you?

Barrington will always hold a special place in my heart; it is where my childhood dream of being a practicing chiropractor came true.
